Combine veggies, seasonings and oil and continue to knead for several minutes.
If needed, add a little whole wheat flour to hold mixture together.
Moisten palms with oil or water and form into balls, sprinkle with flour and flatten between palms. Heat oil in large skillet and fry over medium heat until brown on both sides.
You can also bake them.
Feel free to substitute your favorite seasonings e.g. basil, oregano, chili.
Sprinkle formed patties with a little flour and paprika before pan frying. Patties can also be baked. They are delicious with your favorite toppings on a bun. For a breakfast meal, I use sage seasoning and serve as a veggie sausage. For a dinner meal, the tofu burger can be paired with a green vegetable and sweet potatoes or rice pilaf.
